The Superb 'Mario Galaxy 2' Soundtrack Has Been Added To Nintendo Music

Now I can listen to the magnificent Fluffy Buff Galaxy music on the app.

I used to listen to Galaxy music, when I wanted to take a little nap. Sooo relaxing.

The Gusty Garden theme walked so the Cloudy Court theme could run

Anyway, Galaxy 2's soundtrack is probably my favourite soundtrack of any mainline Mario game, even above Galaxy 1's. Super happy about this, it took way too long

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is the full soundtrack. One of my favorites I believe was called Sky Station Galaxy 2, but I can't find it unless it's under a different name.

Maybe someone wants to join me on this?

I recently wrote to Nintendo via feedback section of www.nintendo.com that it would be great if they could allow for a desktop installation of the Music App. At least on Macs it should be technically possible, they just need to allow it. Would be so nice to hear the music through proper speakers!

@Not_Soos there is no track called Sky Station Galaxy 2

For my money, the Galaxy games have the greatest soundtracks in gaming history. Could listen to them for hours.

I don't know about the one you mentioned, but there's definitely a couple missing. I noticed the fast version of Hightail Falls being absent, and someone pointed out to me that the Cosmic Clone theme is missing as well.

I heard there's missing songs, hopefully they get added very soon.

@Johnny44 Yeah I believe you, there’s setups where you don’t have a problem. In my case it’s studio speakers at work, would love to listen there (without too much hassle).

@Johnny44 Cloudy Court Galaxy is just Gusty Garden Galaxy but better.

Not to mention all the other amazing songs like Cosmic Cove Galaxy, Bowser's Galaxy Generator, Fated Battle, Puzzle Plank Galaxy, Sky Station Galaxy, The Starship's Journey, Melty Monster Galaxy, and more I can't think of off the top of my head. I totally get preferring Galaxy 1's soundtrack but saying it's MILES better is crazy. Both are at least on a similar level.

@JCLKaytwo Cloudy Court Galaxy is a wannabe Gusty Garden, just doesn’t have the same oomph! Gusty is perfection.

Cosmic Cove Galaxy sounds nice. I may have to mix the two and make a playlist.

This is an excellent soundtrack. I'm glad they went the orchestra route with both SMG games; the tunes sync with the game so well, and you can tell a lot of work was put into each composition.

Great soundtrack. My favorite is probably the final battle theme. My favorite track from the first game is Buoy Base.

@ryan_nil Can confirm that it's an exact match yeah. I personally wouldn't count on missing tracks being added anytime soon (although there are a few new tracks in the Switch remasters, which I want to think will be added eventually, so who knows...)

Little annoyed the Yoshi drums versions of the tracks aren't there nor is the sped up version of Gobblegut.

My favorites are Yoshi Star Galaxy, World 3, Freezy Flake Galaxy, Bowser's Lava Lair, Space Storm Galaxy, Haunty Halls Galaxy, Bowser Jr.'s Firey Flotilla, World 6, Gobblegut, Speed Run, & Bowser's Galaxy Generator.

@ryan_nil Generally I agree with the exception of certain expansions like Bowser's Fury and Animal Crossing: New Horizons' DLC

Love seeing stellar soundtracks added to Nintendo Music! Fingers crossed we get some more Animal Crossing soundtracks uploaded once they rev up marketing for the next AC game.
