Switch 2 launched on 5th June 2025 with over 25 launch games and plenty more new games announced to be on their way. How many new games, though?

We've compiled the following list of all confirmed Switch 2 games, including a section with rumoured releases.

Rumoured Switch 2 Games List

Here we'll list every game that's been teased for Switch 2 but remains confirmed at the moment.

We're not including games that leakers and industry names have hinted at coming to the console, only games that developers have themselves specifically nudged and winked at.

How is third-party support for Switch 2?

At the moment, very strong!

FromSoftware is jumping on board with Switch 2, with not only Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, but also The Duskbloods, a new Switch 2-exclusive multiplayer game from the celebrated makers of Dark Souls.

Elsewhere, Capcom bought Street Fighter 6, SEGA joined the party with the Switch 2-exclusive Yakuza 0: Director's Cut, Ubisoft's bringing the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, and Madden's returning to a Nintendo console for the first time in a long time. First Light 007, Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 4, Hades 2 - we could go on, but you can see the list above yourself!

Switch 2 may well be joining the "This is an Xbox" campaign, too, as Microsoft is apparently bringing some of its games to the new console, including Halo: Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. All of these are rumours at the moment, though.

When is the new 3D Mario coming out?

Umm... we hate to break it to you, but it hasn't even been announced - yet!

We're pretty sure we'll hear about the next 3D Mario game in 2025, but right now, Super Mario Odyssey 2 is a distant dream. sigh. Donkey Kong Bananza is looking fantastic, though.
