Thanks! Knockout Tour was not easy, but I think Mario Kart World is more luck- than skill-based, if you play against the AI. Oh yes, I know which sticker you mean. I like it too. And I really like this pose of Peach, it is so fitting of her character.

@Jhena Yeah, you often have to be lucky to take the win because of how much stuff gets thrown around, lol. It does fit Peach's character for sure! And it's nostalgic for me too.

Not sure about you guys but I also thought DLC was gonna be announced in the Direct, but nothing came out.

What are the chances Nintendo thinks the game is essentially complete and won’t have DLC?

If this game doesn't have any paid DLC, then I'll eventually buy it down the line, that's what I promised myself. If there is any paid dlc, then I'll just pass on it since I already want Kirby Air Riders more.

Edit: something to keep in mind is that 8 Deluxe didn't get DLC until almost 5 years after it released.

I really expected DLC in the Direct, I am kinda shocked. Honestly, I have no clue how I feel right now.

They need to add a 3 lap option to Grand Prix and online to make the game playable. Until then, they could add 100 tacks and I wouldn’t care. Just more intermission garbage. I haven’t played it since they adjusted the random track selection for online play. This game is dead to me.

I played for the first time in a little while yesterday, and man it is still so fun. I do still have my complaints with the game, but when it's just the pure racing experience, man is there nothing like it. The pure adrenaline rush of hitting those shortcuts is insane.

Edit: Also would still highly recommend joining the Mario kart world discord so you can play in lobbies. Best way to play the game by a mile.

@Bigmanfan mind dropping me a link to the Discord? I will probably play MKWolrd a ton this week, as I am going to visit family, and there is no way we will miss out on the chance to play some game together!

Just did my first online race on Mario Kart World and came 1st haha! Baby Peach on the Cute Scoot FTW, it was down to the wire at the end, I got hit on the last corner and went from 1st to 3rd... before someone used a lightning! 2 people were ahead of me with the line a few meters away, none had the acceleration I had and I took it haha. What a rush. Definitely prefer the lightweight/high acceleration combo for online play, in single player it's won me races too with the insane recovery through the acceleration.
