Topic: The most iconic tree in gaming

I'm sure we've all had this thought before. After all, trees are just as prevalent in games as they are in real life. And just like in real life, there is only one tree that can be deemed the best, so let's find out which one it is. Here's what you gotta do:

1. Post a tree, preferably with a picture attached.
2. Present your case: give clear and specific reasons you believe your tree of choice is the most iconic.

We may not get a definitive answer, but hey it might to some interesting discussion.

Reasons:
Symbol of wisdom
Protects the forest

Oak Tree from Minecraft

Reasons:

• It’s Minecraft, one of the most popular games in the world
• Easily memorable and replicable shape and design

Dragon Tree from Fantasy Life I.

Reasons:
1. Cool looking fictional tree
2. Boss tree to cut

Pokemon Sword/Shield Tree

Reasons:

• It is really low quality

When I saw this thread, I immediately thought of the Deku Tree and the trees of Pokémon Sword and Shield 🤣

Link's wife, the Maku Tree.

Reasons:

-Wife to the main character (more of a main character herself, tbh)
-Has a cool brother
-Impeccable sense of style
-Hundreds of years young

The Mana Tree! Literally the Goddess and protector of the world in most games! The revelation that the Mana Tree was Randi's Mother was huge to me as a kid. Learning he was abandoned as a baby for a reason, gets to meet her, and then she dies. That whole scene made me cry. It still does.

Ok I still say tree of Mana but otherwise, Yggdrasil (Dragon Quest version) even though it is rarely named. (I think they only named it in 11 but every time you find the tree in DQ there is a Yggdrasil leaf there so that is “naming” it to me.

Edit: Ok I am out of trees. I should have read the replies first.

• The whole story is happening at/on/in the tree.
• It is so big that you start at its trunk and move up.
• Its size is so damn huge that there are multiple cities on its branches.

• Nobody could've been arsed to check if they were stolen from Gylt, which of course they were

• Appears in almost every Kirby game
• Kirby beats the s*** out of it every time
• Sometimes there are two of them, sometimes it's a robot
• I feel like some apple pie.

I think this is the most iconic tree:

• According to the Pokedex in Ultra Sun there's an entire magazine dedicated to it where 'Fans obsess over the particular length and angle of its arms' - doesn't get much more iconic than that
