Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!

North America is probably a clear winner here. It shows off the personality, characters and style of gameplay well. And they even do it in a way that I don't think is too chaotic!

I think this is going to be a blowout!

• Western cover: Fun game.
• Japanese cover: Guidebook on curmudgeonly etiquette, probably.

Japan's okay, but the international one gives much more of a taste of the wide array of cast diversity which is one of the key appeals of these games.

I choose the USA version.
I can see Wario and his friends from USA cover version.

Very weird that Mega Party Games’ box would merge the design of the NA/PAL GBA boxart with Japan’s blue color.

On a side note, what’s with Nintendo Life’s incorrect boxart for Warioware Inc’s Game Profile? They grabbed a boxart with the remade designs from Warioware Gold on it?

“Classy” is the opposite of “Wario” My vote goes to the NA cover.

Definitely USA for me. The more in-your-face one is so much better as a representation of Wario, whereas Japan looks clean and tidy, the anti-Wario. (But the actual anti-Wario works as a literal plumber so it wouldn't suit him either? Idk my brain hurts)

The difference between those two are insane. I chose North America since , to me, it fit the game the best.

NA in spades. It shows the characters, has a great color palette range that gives a hint at the ensuing chaos, and is a more fun design in general. Japan's is...okay...but way too subdued for the series IMO.

For Christmas one year in my early teens, I received a DS and WarioWare: Touched! among a couple other games. I also contracted pneumonia over the break, and let me tell you....This series can lead to some CRAZY fever dreams.

Europe/NA's cover just looks a lot more fun and whimsical, matching the actual game.

I love seeing the characters on the NA version, so definitely that one

I like the latter one more, bu the former fits the wacky, random nature of WarioWare more.

For me, this one is an easy choice. The Japanese variant is a little bit too basic for my eyes. That being said, the North American/European variant isn't really much better except for the colors. Neither one of them really showcase what the games are about. First one gets my vote.

I'm looking at that Japanese cover thinking "I love the cleanness of this cover!"

I voted NA/E. The Japanese one doesn't really reflect the game itself.

The Japanese box looks like packaging for a Wario themed version of… Ahem… a very different product.

I like the more colorful one. Never played these games.

But at least the Japanese cover proudly proclaims "Made in Wario" - a claim most of us here only wish we could make of ourselves.

Hard for me to pick between the two. Both of these boxes have great designs.

The American/European one is better, and it's not even close.

I've actually been playing Mega Microgame$! over the past week or so. It's put me in the mood for more WarioWare, so I'll have to have a look at the two Switch games.

But the Japanese is fun as it is so totally detached from everything this game is about! That's a textbook example of a missed graphical design project.

@Bydlak Not really. It's designed to look like the in-universe box for the game Wario is selling.

The writer could have left out the word "different" from the first sentence of the description for the Japanese box and it might have actually been better. It certainly is trying to do something. The character art for the western cover is pleasant enough. And that's all I have to say really. I voted for the NA/Euro cover.

I just also noticed that the English logo also missed replicating the 'o' bomb in Wario that the "Made in Wario" logo had. How on Earth did they miss that? Deduction right there.

It's hard to vote against "infinite fun." This is perhaps the starkest contrast in the history of Box Art Brawl. I'm amazed it took 6 years to get to it.

North American art has Wario doing a subliminal double middle finger...so that's pretty neat.🐸🍄

If I didn't know any better, I'd believe the Japanese cover is actually medicine or something. Not necessarily a bad thing.

The western cover doesn't exactly tell you visually what the game is about other than the quotes, but at least has the courtesy of showing you the cast, that always counts for something.

@HammerGalladeBro I believe the Japanese text at the top is like "the most, shortest, quickest!" and Wario's text I think is "Simple!"

I know I've said before that I would always vote for JP for GBA games because of that terribly ugly and huge only for game boy advance thing that just systematically butcher any US/EU boxarts. I know I said that but I can't realistically vote for JP this time. It's just so incredibly bland, what were they thinking.
