My kid (when little) was always interested in watching me play it, and now that he's gotten older and good at games, this seems like a no-brainer to pay $4.99 for the upgrade and play through it together again. In that case I would agree, it definitely is a soul cleanser and I think it's a nice little game. I still disagree with you though and think that nice little games can fill the 'nice little game' brief perfectly and deserve the same chance to score highly as the big budget games.
