I would feel better if it was a DLC pass that included future expansions, but they have not indicated this at all (yet).

And I don’t believe it is “free” DLC with the NSO subscriptions.

For now, the base game is enough for me. 😊

Very well said. If somebody thinks this is too expensive for them, I totally agree. If somebody wants to buy it I agree with them too. It’s their opinion. But people throwing around phrases like ‘anti consumer’ around to describe an entertainment company pricing a product nobody needs and is not entitled to is crazy. So over the top.

I totally understand why people are upset about the price, and I also agree they are over priced, but at the end of the day games are a luxury and the price is indeed subjective. We are a tiny vocal minority and I think people feel more entitled then they should often about this subject, and it’s also very sad to see people throwing their fellow community members under the bus for blindly “defending Nintendo” (which is hilarious to me because you’re on essentially a Nintendo fan site lol, but I digress).

I think this is too much money subjectively to me personally so the game is not worth it. But I am just going to accept that, accept this product isn’t for me and just move on.

I come here to feel joy and talk about video games and enjoy the community but it’s just so exhausting how often the talking point is around how much things cost and/or toxic chat bringing others down. Complain about pricing all you want but please can we do it without it becoming a place people can’t have a differing opinion without being rude?

Again, I share the same opinion about it being overpriced as many of you, I just think some people could benefit from considering the above thought.

For all those who purchase, enjoy it. For those who don’t, fair play for voting with your wallet.

Forcing us to buy Galaxy 1 again just for switch 2 upgrades is ridiculous. In fact, I think this should have been a switch 2 game instead of a free upgrade.
Secondly, 40 for the digital is such a rip off. The physical combo is 10 cheaper and has the costs of the cartridge, cases, and shipping. I definitely won't be getting the digital versions but it seems scummy they pushed people this way with the galaxy 1 overlap. So thank you to the digital buyers for subsidizing I guess?
