Mario Galaxy amiibo Are On The Way, Plus Two New Kirby Ones With Swappable Bases

I want the Kirby ones for sure. Those are adorable.

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot about the Metroid Prime 4 amiibos. Those will be part of my collection as well. Love that Sylux is getting a figure.

Trainable amiibo, nice! Seems like Sakurai is the only one at Nintendo who knows what to do with the amiibo.

I love what they're doing with the Kirby amiibo. It's bizarre that Nintendo hadn't been this creative with amiibo years ago.

I hope we can use other Kirby amiibo and train those up too. Most of them merely unlock extra items (and nothing exclusive), so it would be nice for there to be a game that will finally be able to write data to them (outside of Smash anyway).

Nintendo please stop making amiibo, there's TOO MANY, I'm gonna need a warehouse to store all amiibo if this keeps up lmao.

This reminds me so much of how smash bros use the amiibo (though I guess I shouldn’t be surprise given that it’s Sakurai)! And really glad Nintendo is still making amiibo.

@SillyG Considering they said that levels will transfer when you swap riders, I'm gonna guess the characters will have the NFC chip and not the Machines, which would mean the non-Air Riders versions of Dedede, Meta Knight and Waddle Dee most likely will be compatible in Air Riders the same way you can train in Smash a Super Mario series Mario amiibo. The will probably ask you to assign them a Machine, though.

Imagine if they announced compatibility with the Qbby amiibo.

Why does the boxart of Rosalina's face look different than the amiibo on display? Is it just me?

Please please! Finish the collection. I need all the vehicles to have amiibo. I want the wagon, I want the shadow star, I want the chariots and wheels. I’ve never had a full completion of an amiibo set before (unless we were to break Splatoon 3 to its own set), but I would love a full set of Air Riders amiibo.

Kirby ones are super cool. And i don't own any amiibo so far.

Mario amiibo a full 6 months after the game is so Nintendo. Hopefully they're working on Galaxy 3 between the 2 pack and the movie. I wasn't a fan of Odyssey.

Amiibo are just too expensive now for us unless Target has them on clearance for half price. The motorcycle Samus is probably going to be $30 or more.

Nintendo Paid DLC Direct - Amiibo, Virtual Boy, new dlc, day 1 dlc, and after you spent $500 on a new console most of the games are still on Switch, where you can buy the game but not the dlc 🤑

Are those Mario Galaxy amiibos the first Mario series ones to not have red stands? Still, all of these look cool, I'm interested in getting the Kirby Air Riders ones if I get said game, especially with the rider swapping mechanic!

Yeah...I think I'm pretty much done with Amiibo at this point. It was fun collecting the Smash ones that I liked for $13 a pop and some of the others here and there. But these are just too expensive now and I'm running out of space for figures.

I guess there's nothing wrong with the render. Even though I prefer Rosalina's more quite/gentle and happy personality in past games.

Also, and this is more off topic, but is it just me or did Rosalina in Mario Kart World have a different design in her face too? I haven't played MK World myself, but would love to if I got the game.

Beautiful, but amiibos in general got more expensive and that's not cool.

The amiibos are awesome, especially Rosalina, but prices aren't so great. It's just plastic Nintendo.
